J. Q. Delap

Mr. Delap is a well known energy executive with over 35 years of diverse experience in all facets of the regulated and non regulated natural gas, oil, pipeline and power industries. He has been instrumental in building the base for growth of numerous small energy companies. J.Q.'s first association with a non-Fortune 500 company was when he was brought in to be President of LEDCO, a small Gulf Coast gas pipeline company. With such entity as his base, he orchestrated the building of a substantial vertically integrated energy business, inclusive of not only of the initial pipeline company, but an E &P entity, a well servicing company, an LDC (local distribution company), and three natural gas marketing companies each having specific disciplines (one was Canadian, one did only intrastate business and the other did natural gas marketing on a national level). Such organization was built in less than a five year period and was recognized by INC magazine, as being one of the fastest growing of all private companies in North America. LEDCO's revenues were the 6th largest in the nation and it’s rapid growth was ranked at 138th of all private companies in the U.S. J.Q.'s energy expertise includes marketing, management, business development, strategic planning, financial and deal structuring, consulting, contract negotiation, pipeline operations, processing, and merchant power facilities. J.Q.'s strongest assets include not only his extensive contact base in all facets of the energy business, but his intense team approach to leadership and company growth. J.Q.'s educational background includes a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute and an M.B.A. from Pepperdine University.

William N. Knecht
Principal
Mr. Knecht is a hands-on energy executive with over 23 years of diversified, experience in South Texas, West Texas, the Mid-Continent, South Louisiana, Gulf Coast, Gulf of Mexico and the Appalachian Basin. He is well known for his unique blend of cross-functional leadership skills; integrating all facets of the energy business to achieve financial success. The strength of Bill’s talent is a demonstrated ability to combine team building skills and technology to reduce operating cost and increase production. Bill’s diverse background ranges from starting-up new E & P companies to being an executive of a major international company. Employers have included Anadarko, Norcen Explorer, Amax Oil & Gas, and Total. Bill has BS degrees in Geology and in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A & M University.
